18th Aug. 1946 The Bank was formally  Registered at the Hirabaug office.

1st jun 1947   A raitioning grain shop requisitioned at Hirabaug and the bank shifted there.

29th jun. 1947   A Raitioning shop Requisted at Zaveri Bazar.

29th Oct. 1947 A suboffice of the bank opened at Zaveri Bazar.

1st Jan. 1952   The Bank became a sub-member of The Clearing house through     the Bombay Stae

17th May 1954   The Banking department was Authorized to sell saving scheme certificates of the Government of India

18th Aug. 1955-56   The Bank obtained an ‘A’audit Classification.

1st Jan.1957 The ‘Sahakari Samaj’Bulletin started.

12th Mar. 1957 The Grain department at Hirabaug Recognized by the Government as a fair price shop.

30th Nov. 1962 All trading activites closed as per Divisional Joint Registrar directive. Full fledged Banking Activity only.

1st April 1963  Minor’s Savings Account started.

8th Aug. 1964 The Divisional Joint Registrar Permits opening of accounts of Co-op. societies.

11th Aug 1964 The Government of Maharashtra permits opening of accounts of Public Trusts.

1st July 1971 A Deposit Insurance Scheme Introduced by the Deposit Insurance Corporation.

18th Aug 1971 The Bank completes 25 years.

1st July 1980 Attractive deposit schemes such As Double Benefit scheme, Re-investment plan,Pension scheme and Recurring Deposit Scheme Introduced.

18th Sept.1982 A second branch established At Mandvi

24th dec. 1983 The JSB Charitable Trust was Set up.

28th Mar. 1986 The third branch established at Borivali.

5th Nov. 1988 Safe Deposit Lockers made Available at the Borivali branches

10th May 1990 Computers introduced at all three branches.

31st Mar. 1992 A remarkable growth in Deposits and advances.

15th Jun. 1994 On-Line computersation at all Three branches introduced.
